Ship Designed to Capsize

This ship with a length of 108 meters is capable of flipping from a horizontal to a vertical position while at sea. Known as the Floating Instrument Platform (FLIP), it is designed to study wave height, acoustic signals, water temperature and density, and for the collection of meteorological data. The most fascinating aspect of it is that the bridge, galley, crew quarters and scientific laboratory and bathroom are designed to be operable in both the vertical and horizontal position.
